Stocks saw upward trend on Thursday as major indices of both Dhaka and Chittagong stock exchanges were found of finishing upward trend with higher transactions of some large-cap securities.
The shareholder companies share rate have increased today in both stock. But money transaction decreased more than yesterday in DSE. DSE major indices DSEX 33 points up at 6322. It is the highest ranking since 2013 when the index launched. Transaction has also increased in CSE. The share transaction of DSE were 854.54 crore taka in total which is 43.45crore taka lesser than yesterday. Yesterday there were 898 crore taka transaction.
The broader DSEX index of the DSE finished the session with 33 points up at 6322. The Shariah DSE index foloowed it with 3 points up at 1393 and DSE-30 index finished with 6 points up at 2277. At DSE out of the day’s transaction among 322 companies and mutual funds rate increased in 185, decreased in 96 and 41 companies share rate are unchanged which in total amount is 854,54,84,000 taka.
Lanka Bangla Finance topped the turnover leaders followed by AB Bank, Bangladesh Thai Aluminum Ltd, Shahjalal Islami Bank, Dhaka Bank, Paramount Textiles, United Power Generation and Distribution Company, Square Pharmaceuticals, BBS Cables and FSS Finance and Investment.
On the other hand CSE’s out of the day’s share transaction is 97.12 crore taka. The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) closed the day of the week with upward trend with its major CASPI 118 points up at 19,583. Total 245 Companies share and mutual fund were transected in CSE. Among them rate increased in 137, decreased in 77 and 31 share rate were unchanged.
