College admission results published

Admission results for colleges have been published on Thursday.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid officially announced the merit list prepared by the Inter-education Board Coordination Subcommittee.

The merit list is available on the official website www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd.

Colleges will start admitting the students on June 18 and continue till June 22.

Students from the waiting list will be admitted from June 25 to 27.

The classes are scheduled to start on July 10.

However, students who will fail to get admitted in the allotted time for some inconvenience will be allowed to get admitted between July 10 and 20 by submitting late fees.

Nahid said that the public and private colleges can accommodate 2.11 million students this year which means that around 700,000 seats will still be vacant.

“Everyone might not get to go to their preferred colleges, but no one will be denied admission due to paucity of seats,” the minister told the media at his office.
